Cartmel Racecourse are pleased to announce a new challenge for 2011. The 2011 Jockey’s challenge will run through the season and should provide an exciting build up during and towards the end of our season.
How does it work?
Every jockey who has a ride at Cartmel in 2011 is automatically included. The challenge works on a points system with 3 points for a win, 2 points for 2nd and 1 point for 3rd. Come the last race meeting of the season and the Jockey with most points after the last race will be crowned champion and receive a luxury weekend break for two at the Swan Hotel & Spa.
Results will be kept up to date in each racecard and on a notice board outside the weighing room. The Swan Hotel & Spa, has also very kindly offered a bottle of champagne for each jockey who scores the most points on each of our 7 race days.
